Nextbook Flexx 9 Touchscreen 8.9″ Tablet

Nextbook Flexx 9 Touchscreen 8.9″ Tablet Combo.

The Nextbook Flexx 9 is a 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet with a 8.9″ screen. It uses a Intel Atom 1.8 GHz Quad-Core processor, with a 32 GB Internal memory. The camera isn’t that impressive with a rear camera of 2 MP and a front camera of 0.3 MP. There is no Ethernet connection built into this tablet or the detachable keyboard so you will need to have a usb dongle to connect a hard line. It can be connected to an external screen through a micro HDMI cable. This tablet is a very versatile system for its size an price at $160.

For the price this is a great deal. There have been occasions where I have demanded too much from the tablet that it does hang up a little but in comparison to my “better” computer it is actually less problematic. The keyboard takes some getting used to as you don’t have all the same keys and to access the missing keys you will need to use button combos. Compared to most androids at around the same price point it is a much better buy as you can use almost any windows program. I am not a fan of windows 10 too much but that is the only option for any computer. Battery life is great for windows compared to an android it would be acceptable. I do wish there was a USB slot in the actual machine so that I could use a USB drive while using it as a tablet so you will need to SD card instead for when you are not using the keyboard. Sits nicely when the keyboard is attached and doesn’t tip over like some of my previous tablets. Here are my ratings:

Computing Power: 4/5
Keyboard Style: 3/5
Power Life: 4/5
Price Point: 5/5
Quality: 5/5
Overall bang for price 5/5
Practical Design: 3.5/5
Look: 5/5
Stability: 4/5

I would recommend this for people would like to have something they can take anywhere and use for daily activities. I would not rely on this for high processing power but with the use of a remote viewer you can easily work on these remotely. For the price I have no complaints. I use this on a daily basis for the past 8 months and it doesn’t give me any trouble with normal use. Worth the buy even if not fully needed. I give it an overall 5/5 for what you get for the price you pay. Sure its not the highest end tablet you can get but its cheap and does a good job doing what its designed to do.
